Once labeled “a songwriting Charles Atlas” by the Toronto Sun, Chris Staig is happy to announce the arrival of “Shack By The Tracks” on LP. This new recording is the best representation of both Staig’s blues tinged folk rock writing and the live sound of his hard working band The Marquee Players. While available on CD and on Itunes, “Shack By The Tracks” the album is Staig’s first recording to be issued on LP. The recording was mastered for vinyl by Noah Mintz at the Lacquer Channel in November 2014. However, an unexpectedly long manufacturing production time caused the LP to be available only in a preorder form at the Toronto area launch parties, held at The Junction City Music Hall and Dora Keogh’s in early April. Spring is finally here and so is the “Shack By The Tracks” LP; a unique single day tour of Toronto stores specializing in LPs will take place on Saturday May 2nd.
