Chris Staig and the Marquee Players are pleased to announce that they will be performing four monthly residencies in Toronto during the summer of 2015. While the band is undertaking appearances at shows and festivals throughout Ontario in the coming months, they are looking forward to regularly playing for hometown fans at their favourite venues. The songs for Staig’s latest release, “Shack By The Tracks”, were first honed and brought to life in these clubs. Shows at these venues, as recently noted by writer Lenny Stoute in Cashbox Canada Magazine, have caused Chris Staig and the Marquee Players to “evolve from a good little bar band to a tight-knit unit with a sound all its own.” Of particular note is the show scheduled for Saturday September 12th at The Hole in the Wall; this marks the third year anniversary of Chris Staig and the Marquee Players being in monthly residence at this Junction area venue.
